The Challenges Facing Homeschooling

81% of parents are concerned with declining test scores and achievement gaps.  It's not surprising the homeschooling population had been growing over the past several years.  Nailing down the most effective curriculum can be incredibly difficult thanks to these challenges:

Limited Access to Science Labs                     

Homeschoolers suffer from a serious lack of science labs and typically fall back on science kits that cost between $500-$2000 and carry additional "hidden costs" of  additional prep, set up, helping kids during lab time, grading assignments and storage of half done experiments, let alone the inevitable clean up.

Even more frustrating is trying to piece together age appropriate labs with mixed ages groups from K to 8th grade.  It's like trying to put a square peg in a round hold, cuz what works for one age doesn't fit for another.

Worse, it drains parents energy and takes away the joy of individual interaction with their children.

Our mobile STEM academy provides a  high-quality, flexible and customizable learning experience for homeschooling families.  

​Our system is Next Gen Science Standard compliant for grades K - 8 so it works with multiple grade levels.  The text-to-speech capability promotes reading independence and mixed-age collaboration. 

The interface notifies students of micro and macro concept progress based on real-time analytics of student assessment data.  This empowers students to focus on immediate learning gaps that each student faces.  The student dashboard gives a cumulative summary of all activities completed making parental verbal check-ins a breeze.

Customizable Curriculum

With the assurance of our validated triple sigma improvement on standardized tests with homeschool students, parents gain increased productivity, knowing, not guessing  what they are doing is right.  The interface provides interactive lab practicum that makes complex topics like biology, chemistry and physics tangible and eliminates the time constraints and headaches of science kits.  The gamified curriculum motivates student directed learning.  This allows for more direct quality interactions with children, elevating the conversation across the home and diminishing parent burden.

Holstic Development

Our built-in behavior management creates a homeschool culture that nurtures students' leadership, agency, and ownership of their learning. At first touch, students undertake a hero's journey to select a Caradoodle and train it to fly.  They then earn coins to feed it by working in mixed age-group pairs  to problem solve interactive lab practicum in both the virtual and real world.  The system monitors student progress taking this time consuming task off parent's hands and fostering a well-rounded child.

​These mobile STEM labs and tutorials fortify kids' scientific literacy of Next-Gen Science Standards (NGSS) in biology, chemistry and physics with hands-on 3D/AR virtual labs, lessons and assessments.  Students learn K - 8th grade STEM by completing interactive activities that take them across Unitopia and galaxies far beyond.
