Golden Poppy's aim is to make every child the champion of their own story and to realize the unicorn within.  We are proud to support the following organizations making a difference in the lives of children.
Disaster Relief for North Carolina, Hurricane Helen Orphans.

Wesavegirls.org is a partnership between local community and law enforcement to stop sex traffing in the Bay Area.

​Ronald McDonald House provides a home environment, communities of support, access to medical care, and the healing power of family for critically ill children. 
This annual campaign brings communities together to help bring the joy of Christmas and send a message of hope to America’s less fortunate children. This community action effort will assist and guide these children, helping them to develop into responsible, productive citizens.
 Provided local Los Altos troop leadership and mentoring in STEM, the outdoors, entrepreneurship, and important life skills, training 10+ parent-assistants, and hosted monthly meetings and activities for 100 + girls for 10 years.
Designed innovative children's author's gardens using recycled doors and woolen pockets to house outdoor plants.  Students planted edibles to honor Eric Carle and the Hungry Caterpillar, whimsical succulents to honor Dr. Seuss, and Australian themed plants to honor Mem Fox.  These beautiful creations found comfortable homes in the yards of a loving  families. 
Mentored NorCal GirlScouts through social media, and speaking events across two campuses in partnership with OneWarm Coat and City Team Ministries to collect over 600 coats for families in need and received a certificate of appreciation for "Warming the Community."
Supported the United States Youth Volleyball League in three cities (Mountain View,  Palo Alto, Saratoga) through coaching 150+ children in technical skill and game fundamentals, training 20+ parent-coach, and assistant-coach volunteers and hosted inter-city tournaments for 300 + children.
