 Eco-Friendly Service Project #1

For this project I created 3 themed children's author's gardens for a class of 1st grade students.

"Carrol impressed us all with her interesting and artistic idea for this year's auction item!  She managed to make it fun eco-friendly, and connected it to some of our favorite authors.  Using Wooly Pockets, Carrol prepared three themed doors to house outdoor plants.  Students planted edibles to honor Eric Carle and the Hungry Caterpillar, whimsical succulents to honor Dr. Seuss, and Australian themed plants to honor Mem Fox.  These beautiful creations will surely find a comfortable home in the yard of a loving  family. Heart-Warming Community Project #2

In this grass roots campaign Carrol mentored 15 girlscouts through social media, and speaking events across two campuses in partnership with OneWarm Coat and City Team Ministries to collect over 600 coats for families in need and received this appreciation for "Warming the Community."
